The land grant is for 433 acres and 153 perches, bounded by land owned by Thomas Ferguson, Lasly Malone, Daniel Turner, and Jos. Welch. It was surveyed 30 March 1794 as granted to Mary Smith. The document is signed by Governor Andrew G. Curtin (secretary's hand), 23 April 1866, attested by James P. Barr, Surveyor General, from Patent Book H, Vol. 61, page 236, and includes an embossed seal of the Surveyor General's Office.
